How devices work
In GLYPH, every device is its own participant — your phone, laptop, and tablet are three separate identities, not one account. Each device gets its own cryptographic key, and every group decides independently whether that device can decrypt content. You aren't adding people to groups; you're adding devices. That's what makes GLYPH zero trust.
Quick steps
- Add a device to an open group. When a group is open but the current device isn't a member, click Add this device — the device joins as a member of that group.
- Review members and devices. In the top-right corner of the group, open the member and device list to see every individual and the devices participating.
- Remove a device's access to a group. From that list, remove access for any device. All future messages stop being delivered to that device.
- Manage the devices on your account. Go to Authentication & Settings, scroll to My Devices, and edit or remove a device from your account.
