Quick steps

1. Select the plus icon next to direct messages.
2. Using the search tool, find the members you'd like to message and select them.
3. For each recipient, choose which devices to include. Any device not included won't receive messages.
4. Send a message to create the direct message.
5. To add your own additional devices, open the Members list, select your name, choose the devices to add, and press Save.

Devices that aren't added to a conversation won't receive its messages — review the device list before you send. For adding members and the platform-specific steps, see Groups and Direct Messages.
